Don’t Live A “GODLY LIFE”

You’re not good enough to live a Godly life, and you can’t do enough to earn God’s affection or favor. In fact, In Isaiah 28, God’s word clearly says that all your best attempts at righteousness are in the same category as used toilet paper. When you look at it that way, it makes you re-think how you approach this Christian walk.

Does this mean we give up trying, and live however we want? We’ll unpack that question in today’s podcast.

REFRESH 2023: Living An “ABUNDANT LIFE”

On behalf of all of us at Restoring The Foundations, we want to wish you a very happy new year!

Last year was a big year for RTF. We crafted and launched the Hope, Healing, And Freedom podcast, we announced our new myRTF platform and began streamlining our organization, we hosted an amazing live International Advanced Conference here in Nashville, and most importantly – many received a renewed hope, deep healing, and freedom in Christ.

As we embark on another rotation around the sun, we wanted to bring back one of our earlier podcasts that, we believe, will set the tone for what’s ahead this new year. Please be blessed as RTF Director Cindi Whitman presents a Refresh for 2023: Living an Abundant Life in Christ.

“LAW” -VS- “GRACE” Part 1

Are we saved by our works? Are we saved by grace? The word of God is clear:

“8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”  – Ephesians 2:8-10 NASB 1995

There are some friction points in understanding works/grace. Today’s podcast is part 1 of a 2 part series where we try to bring some clarity and understanding.

“AUTHORITY”

Authority comes from God alone. He gives and removes authority according to His perfect plan. We can chose to come under the authority of God, and benefit from that covering. We can also try to work in our own authority, but that never ends well.

Today on the podcast, we talk about how to operate in Godly authority.
