Today’s topic is affecting you, and you may not be aware of it. It is something that has plagued the Church for centuries. It is something that desperately needs to be corrected in order for the Kingdom of God to fully come to earth, and yet it is something that is seldom talked about. Do I have your attention yet? I hope so. Come along with me as I attempt to address this very important topic.
If you were involved in something that was opening your life to the world of the occult, you would want to know, right? There are many things that are looked at as innocent and harmless that are anything but harmless. Many of these things open us up to the influence of the occult. In this weeks podcast we are going to highlight some of those innocent and harmless appearing things as a warning for the Body of Christ.
It is impossible for us to put ourselves in the place of the women who watched Jesus die a horrible death on the cross, and then watch Him be buried in a borrowed tomb, and then watch a huge stone be rolled in front of the tomb, sealing it forever. Can you imagine what it was like for Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and Mary, the mother of James, to go to the tomb to place spices and find that it was empty? Then, when they went back to tell the disciples what they saw, the men did not believe them. Typical, right, ladies? Yet these women were the first people to know that the tomb was empty. In this podcast we are going to look at the significance of the tomb being empty for us today.
For the rest of your life you are going to hear two voices. One voice, the voice of our Father God says, “This is my beloved son or daughter,” the other voice says, “if you are a son, then prove it.” Gods voice is the voice of affirmation. The other voice is the voice tempting you to prove you really are who God says you are. Which voice are you listening to? We also get frustrated if the website we are going to takes more than two clicks to open our page. Or we get upset when the webpage we want takes more than two seconds to open.
