It is also the way much of the Church is operated. It is also the way many marriages are run. What if that pyramid is not the way Jesus would run things? How Can We Have Wholehearted Devotion to Jesus?

People all around the world know the emergency phone number for their country. It is 911 for those of us in North America, I believe it is 999 in the UK, and 112 in Europe. We know that you only dial those numbers when you need emergency services like an ambulance, or the police, or the fire department. Unfortunately many people have a 911 relationship with Jesus. They only call on Him when they are in an emergency. Yes, Jesus will be there for you when you are in a crisis, but He is much more than a 911 Jesus.

The Erosion of Our Faith

Matters of the Heart

There are two conditions that are a bit hard to define because they are invisible boundary lines, yet they often have a very strong effect on your life. Those two conditions that may be interacting are soul ties and being able to establish healthy boundaries. Both of these are hard to define because you can’t point to a specific behavior to verify them. They both have to do with our heart attitudes, and they are both important because they can hinder our free will. In this podcast, we are going to look at how unhealthy soul ties might be reinforcing unhealthy boundaries. If you are not sure what I am talking about, I understand.
